Where can I download a flash player for windows XP from? I see adobe.com but it is pretty confusing for me to find what to download from that huge site. I use jaws 6.0 but have jaws 9 being used as a demo right now so can download from adobe using either program. thanks in advance.
Just follow the links. Go on to adobe.com and enter on the following links.
1. Press and hold insert key and hit F7 at the same time. Jaws F7, short cut to Links list or simply hit L for link, F for Flash, enter.
2. G for Get Adobe Flash Player then A for Agree and Install Now, going to the links list or hitting L for link to find the above links quickly and easily each time. Press Enter.
3. Follow the prompts to install Adobe Flash Player which will include closing Internet Explorer so it can be successfully installed on your system.
4. Open IE up again and if you have any flash movies on your homepage, JAWS will go a bit jumpy as usually happens when it meets Flash movies, so you'll know then that the installation was successful.
Hope this helps fix any problems you've been having with Adobe's website.

If you also use Firefox, you can also install it for firefox as well.
great instructions. Since I am a senior citizen, need this type of clear instruction. Am rather slow at installing programs compared to the young folks.
slight problem. the information bar keeps popping in and I unchecked the message in hopes that the information bar would not bar me from installing, but it still does. The message says click on the gold bar to install the program. Do i need sighted assistance for this install or is there a work around for the issue?
Hit alt+D to get into your addrewss bar, then ta until u hear it say something like "trying to install a program." Hit your applications key, and tell it to install.
Aw'w'w sheesh! Yeah, I forgot about the gold bar, oops, sorry about that.
